Introducing Wilmington Chiropractor Dr. Douglas Briggs

Dr. Douglas Briggs

I had severe sinus problems for years - it was not until I received chiropractic care that the pain and congestion were relieved

Chiropractic had such a dramatic effect on my life, that I chose it as a career - I wanted to be able to help others feel better and experience the powerful natural healing that I had.

Many people think chiropractic education is not that involved - nothing could be farther from the truth!  The first several years of school are the same as for a medical doctor - but the focus is on physical medicine, not drugs and surgery.

My practice philosophy is pretty simple - help people feel better, get better, and stay healthy.  Different people have different needs - some need chiropractic, others acupuncture, some need key exercises or a change in their diet - you must find out what the individual needs are to help someone get on the road to better health.

Thanks for visiting my site.  I look forward to meeting you in person and learning how to help you reach your health goals.  Give the office a call, or email me using the link below and let's set up a time to explore your options.

Dr. Briggs Asks some important questions of interest to Wilmington residents - Chiropractor Wilmington Dr. Briggs Asks...

How do chiropractors help ADHD?
There is agreement that ADHD is a nervous system disorder. And while chiropractic isn't a treatment for ADHD, if your child has subluxations, resolving them will often produce profound results. Click here to learn why more and more Wilmington parents are choosing natural chiropractic care rather than dangerous psychotropic drugs.
Where do most Wilmington residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Wilmington newborn.
